NPC pending application status questions have been answered in this article. It has not really been that easy for candidates to sit back and watch their status remain pending while many of their counterparts are also checking out their status and seeing “Approved.” We understand it can really be perturbing, but we always tell candidates that they should try as much as possible not to think about or talk about it for too long. All they have to do is keep scouting for reliable information they’ll need. Read through to know how you can turn your status from pending to approved.
I know by now you are still inputting your application ID or access code into the NPC website to know if your application status has changed from pending to approved.
During the recruitment stage, individuals were able to choose between data quality assistants, data quality managers, training centre administrators, monitoring and evaluation officers, facilitators, enumerators, special work force and supervisors.
As of January 4, 2023, among all the categories available for selection during the registration phase, only special workforce and facilitators are receiving approved status from the NPC website.
How can I turn my NPC pending application status to approved
At the moment, only those who selected special workforce and facilitators categories are getting approved status from the NPC management. They received an email, SMS or WhatsApp message from the NPC management to proceed to the next step.
So, to change your NPC pending application status to approved, you must be invited for screening first by the NPC management to the NPC office in your state. Check the requirements for NPC screening and the five questions asked during the NPC quiz.
After a successful screening at the NPC state office, the NPC officer present will demand your ID number, which they will use to change your NPC pending application status to approved.
If your category is data quality assistants, data quality managers, training centre administrators, monitoring and evaluation officers, enumerators and supervisors, you have nothing to worry about, because when we contacted NPC management, they said that when they are done with the special workforce and facilitators, they will start with the rest of the category.
What if I have forgotten the category I chose during the NPC registration?
Many candidates attested to the fact that they where overwhelmed while applying for the National Population Commission (NPC) recruitment that they forgot what position they applied for. It happens, and there’s definitely nothing to worry about.
Even if you have forgotten the category you chose during registration, don’t worry; just wait for the NPC email, SMS or WhatsApp message on how to proceed to the next step in order to turn your NPC pending application status to approved.
How to retrieve NPC application ID or Access Code if you lost or forgot it
Did you apply for the National Population Commission (NPC) for the 2023 census exercise and by any chance you lost your NPC Application ID or Access Code?
Are you trying to check your application status on the NPC website and you couldn’t because you have misplaced your NPC Application ID or Access code?
The NPC application ID is also known as an “access code.” It is a special combination of both alphabets and numerals that is unique to every candidate. This unique ID remains the only way to resume your application or verify your status. If you in any way misplace your special NPC application ID or access code or are no longer able to place a finger on where you wrote it, then you’re on the right track to getting the rightful solution.

Can I change my application from NPC Staff to NPC Adhoc staff?
This is impossible. Once you have selected one, you can’t go back.
Can I edit my application after submission?
Absolutely not. You can’t.
What do I do after my application is completed and submitted?
Once your application is completed, all you have to do is check your application status. If it says “Pending” then wait till you receive an email from NPC for the next step to get approved.
At the moment, only special workforce and facilitators are receiving approved from the NPC management.
If you chose data quality assistants, data quality managers, training centre administrators, monitoring and evaluation officers, enumerators and supervisors, you are expected to wait for further instructions for the next step from the NPC before you are approved.
How do I check my Application Status?
Visit the NPC website, scroll down and click “Check Application Status” and input your NIN or your application ID or Access code to check your status.
